FAQs

Who is Eligible?

We take rising 3rd to 5th graders who are a part of the LPS school system!

What should I bring to camp?

Materials for activities of the day will be provided by the student board, all that's needed is a water bottle, packed lunch and snack that contains no peanuts or tree nuts. Also consider sunscreen and/or a hat for outdoor breaks.

Will my child get to take home projects?

Absolutely! We allow all camp members to take home projects as memorabilia, and we encourage them to keep tinkering and stay interested!

What are our rules on attendance?

We kindly ask that campers attend each scheduled day to fully benefit the activities and learning. For this reason                absences are not refundable.

What sets Sprouting In STEM apart?

Sprouting In STEM is unique because of its student staff board! Activities are run by students who love the field, and with minimal adult input!

Will my child spend time outside?

Weather permitting, we'll eat lunch outside and take a walk break to a nearby location such as Hastings Park. Adult chaperones will join us.
